cant believe i had a Bum Rca !!! i wonder how long it's been out ?

what effect does it have on the overall preformance of the amp to reproduce a signal ?

how did you figure out you had a bad one

I guess you will find out if you get louder with both rca's working... It probably depends on how your headunit processes the sub out signal, I know my deck does it as either mono (no effect) or stereo (uses both rca's).

Rexzilla ( Usaci 2x Champ ) pulled out the DMM and found the problem.

bigg props for him being a nice guy and helping out :slayer:

1 rca had voltage the other did not...

Yea, as well as Brian, I'm having the same problem as him. My RCA's weren't registering any voltage.

I am going to replace the RCA's with some bad@$$ ones, because I have some mediocre ones, and then install the Line Driver I bought.

Hopefully this solves the problem...

After all that, I still managed a 151.3 :drink40:

Jeff is a Killer competitor...

I wouldn't say I'm killer, but thank you:).......Now on the other hand, you are a awesome competitor. You help me with whatever I'm stuck on and give me allthe pointers in the world. Thanks. I'm glad we are on a team together, we're rockin TBP..

But I do try my best, and I'm still learning about this car audio stuff.....but I am learning fast.

I want 155 dB out of this single 12"....and I'm gonna get it one of these days... :eek5wavey:
