Posted April 19, 200817 yr Took a few hours tonight and threw this new box together for my pair of RL-i8s. I think it came together well, won't be able to test it out until the morning. Might run a roundover on the edges, what do you think?
April 19, 200817 yr Author If I roundover the edges, I'll need to give the same treatment to the baffle. That would completely change the look of the box. I sorta like the hard industrial look with the screw heads showing... only one of the RL-i8s came with a gasket (might sell that one). Decisions, decisions...
April 19, 200817 yr Author Wow, this new box sounds great. Amazing what a SAX-100.2 can do with a pair of RL-i8s.I'll post a video later if I can dig up the video camera.-fp
April 19, 200817 yr IMO, I think it depends on if you are carpeting, vinyling (if that is even a word), or painting. If you're going to carpet, I'd leave it square. If your going to vinyl, I'd round it over.If painting, either way.
April 20, 200817 yr Author Video of the new box. Sorry for the crappy quality.<param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355">
April 20, 200817 yr Admin Looks good, I might want that gasket for mine. Would love to hear yours sometime soon. You know we have a video site of our own that you can embed videos just like youtube.

I'd like you to hear the new front stage layout too.You know we have a video site of our own that you can embed videos just like youtube. No kidding!
April 21, 200817 yr Author how do you like the output of two sealed?Love it. They're almost as loud as the single RL-i8 in my T-Box with the SAZ-1500D. It really accentuates the low-end and is very tight throughout. I can't wait to get that amp back from Jacob and see what sort of damage I can do.
