Kicker bass knob on my SAE-1000D?

The bass knob for my SAE-1000D is really stiff and difficult to turn. I'm afraid that if I try to turn it it's going to rip the screws out of my cheap plastic dash. I have a Kicker bass knob that's much looser and easier to turn. Can I use the Kicker knob on my SAE-1000D?

I have no clue... the Kicker knob may not function the same way and I have not messed with their knobs.
