Mine is tuned to 36hz and plays music great. Its defintely not a fart box.

I've been neglecting this thread a little but I have a couple updates. Earlier this week I played with box tuning and got it up to a 151. I did squeeze a 151.1 that day but didn't get a pic of it.

Then today at a comp after a good charge on the batteries and some hands holding my rear glass it got up to a 151.4.

subs forward >>> ports up ^^^ i gain 2.3db

I tried subs forward & ports up this afternoon and lost 1db. So I tried it with the mic in the kick and still lost 1db compared to subs up & port back.

was your box all the way back to the rear window ?

passenger seat all the way forward ?

passenger visor 1/2 way down - glove box open ???

actually he might gain if he just turn his box around so it will be sub up port to the side
