I've heard that the SSA ICON 15 and Fi Q15 are very similar in SQ and output. I want to purchase either of the two subs but am not sure which to choose. I want a sub that has very deep, low bass, and gets loud with good SQ. Does anyone know if any of the two is better than the other???

Your goals are mutually exclusive in the same install...

The differences will not be all that audible. Q specs to get a tad louder on the mic, and the Icon could reach down a tad lower. But honestly, flip a coin, throw a dart, either way you are going to end up with a great driver in clarity/output/power handling. Sure I would love it if you got the Icon, but that is due to my bias, so my unbiased suggestion is the sentence prior to this one. :)

run on sentance

=)

I think the icon looks better. so if all was equal.....

both will completely destroy those R's you have.

lol ya..i like the type r's but they get a little muddy at times and I've heard that these stay pretty clear even at high volumes.
