so i may be having to ditch my q to get more cargo space if i get a cable install tech job. id really like to stick with fi but im not sure if a ssd would be thrilled getting 400w from a kx/zx550.3. has anyone sent thiers that little power? i could probably port it if i need to , but id like to keep it sealed for the sake of space.

input?

not too serious on the name.

but i will be coming from a 15" fi q on a sae-1000d in 3.8 @ 30 hz. so im used to getting loud when i want to.

reading over the manual on the 550.3 its 420w @ 2ohm on 14.4 volts and 360w on 12.5 volts. so it wont even be a full 400wrms.

Sq in ya name and "not too serious on the name"-----hmmm

seeing as though less than 10% of the musical spectrum is played by the sub....it doesn't make that much of differance in the differance you spoke of.....I think you will be ok.

hmm? i listen to alot of rap and occasionally ill play some rock/metal. so i would like the substage to be 'there'.

its not like im going to be running a full active 3 way set up right away. everyone has to start somewhere. i would love to have an award winning sq setup , but cant afford everything needed to get started right now. eventually i will though.

if i decide to get rid of my q , i may go with a single 12" idq and give my girl the ssd....

so you got the ssd already? i was gonna throw out a trade lol
