Posted May 22, 200817 yr Admin well after along time of driving my brand new truck around with a ton of weight in the back, two monster 15's and a huge box, batts, amps, etc...I decided it was time to get back to a single 12". Plus with John having his truck so close for demo's, and that truck being above and beyond loud IMO, thought it was time. Found some great looking prefab's locally here in Phoenix, so decided to try one out. Here are the specs of the box.Width - 18.250"Height - 16.000"Depth - 16.000"Internal Volume = 1.769 ft^3Tuned @ 37.089 hzPort Area = 25.8in^2 Everything seems about right with this box ecept the tuning is a little high, but all and all I am really amazed by the SQ of this sub. Haven't heard an ICON in a while since i've been working so much with the bigger line. Damn, I love these ICONs. Anyways, on to the pics.
May 22, 200817 yr Author Admin lol, i'm going to demo them to sell a few locally. They are great boxes for the money. But yes, I get your point. LOLhere's a few more of them.
May 22, 200817 yr Author Admin Oh sweet jesus.you bought 5 of them.some of us don't get paid to play with a sound board all day. lols
May 22, 200817 yr id ahve to say some great SQ out of the 12 in that box. hah quick install truck looks a lot cleaner.i like that shadow of ur logo on the truck form ur sticker looks good. toss that out there
May 23, 200817 yr I think its a nice looking box, not too big either. But don't she me these things, I have been tempted to buy an Icon for a while now and haven't pulled the trigger. I was hoping that a radio alone could fix my problem but I know deep down inside that I still need an Icon. I still don't have either though.
May 23, 200817 yr id ahve to say some great SQ out of the 12 in that box.Just curious, have you heard the Icon sealed or IB? I have a feeling you'll be really pleased at what it can do then

I have a feeling you'll be really pleased at what it can do then not IB but in a sealed box yes and yes that did sound better. but for a prefab box it wasnt half as bad as we orginally intended thought it sound sloppy.
May 23, 200817 yr Author Admin just more proof that these subs will work in a wide variety of enclosures.
