Posted May 28, 200817 yr Now I Know For A Fact That People Say The FI.BL's Are Louder Than The FI.SSD's Period!!FI.BL'shttps://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/...view.shopscriptFi.SSD'shttps://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/...view.shopscriptAre They? Are The Fi.BL's Louder Than The Fi.SSD's?The Reason Why Im Asking This Question Is Because The FI.BL's Handle 1000 Rms & The SSD's Handle 800 Rms But Wont The SSD's Be Louder If You Add The BP Power Option Cause It Handles 200-500 Rms More Being 1300 RMS If Wired Proporly. How Will You Have To Wire Them Inorder To Get The Whole 500 Rms?If The FI.BL's Are Still Louder & Better Can I Give Them 1200 Rms Instead Of 1000 Rms? Can They Handle A Little More Rms Than The 10'' & 12'' Subs Since Their Bigger? If So Whats The Maxium Rms They Can Handle With These Options:Dual 2Ohm,P-Chmfer,Flatwind Coil,And Daily Option? I Plan On Buying 3 Of Them! Also How Big Will A Ported Enclosure Be For 3 15'' FI.BL's Or FI.SSD'S? Will It Fit In The Trunk Of A 1997 Ford Contour (Depending On How I Put It In)P.S: Oh Yeah What Amp Is Mostly Recommended For Four Door Speakers? 2-Channel,4-Channel,5-Channel,Or Mulit-Channel?And Can The 15'' FI.BL's Handle 2000-3000 Each Or Just A Little Over 1000 Maybe 1200 Or 1600 Or Just 1000?''Hope This Helped!'' May 28, 200817 yr the BLs should handle quite a bit more power than the SSDs. how much power over advertised will depend on your install.
May 28, 200817 yr Is the BL louder then the SSD? It's install dependent, you could have three BL on 3000 watts, but if their in a crappy box. They won't be louder then the SSD's.You won't notice a different in 1200 watts as to 1000 watts, and the BP power option is already on the sub when you get it. It just bumps up the RMS 200-500.I don't believe you could fit three 15"'s in the back of that car. Also, on the door speakers you could use all of them actually, would be a waste to buy the 5 channel as your looking into using 800-1200 watts. I don't think there is a 5-channel that the sub channel puts out that much at the moment. Just use a 4 channel amp, most people just bump up their front stage, and use a 2 channel amp.P.S: It's a lot easier to read, when you don't have every word capitalized.
May 28, 200817 yr btw the 5ch memphis belle is 74Wx4 and 1100W@1ohm but i think it wouldn't fit your needs.
