Are the Rl p subs more spl or sq? and what would be a good amp to go with a 12" Rl p?

  • Admin

They are intended for clean sound. They run great off of anywhere between 500 to 1000 watts. With the low QTS. they can thrive in a smaller ported box. Mike, owner of SoundSplinter is very good to his customers. :)

Im looking for a sub that can be powerful but still sound clean. Mainly looking for a good quality sub without running another battery etc. I would like to put it in a ported box. I only listen to rap though. Whats a good amp to run with this sub?

Do you have a budget for an amplifier?

  • Author

Not really I dont want to go crazy and spend a ton of money on an amp. Would you say this sub would be a good fit for me?

Port it, tune the enclosure to about 30-33hz and give it a clean 750 or so watts.

Will this sub get loud to rap? Is there any amps youd reccomend? Like the Kicker zx 750 or alpine?

would an Alpine M1005 be a good fit? I heard those are power hungry amps?

I have heard a lot of good things about kicker amps. Would you say they are good quality? Are they power hungry amps?
