June 5, 200817 yr If you prefer to use fill, you could try it and see. It might make you shrink the enclosure a bit though, which luckily is easy after the fact.
June 5, 200817 yr Admin You can build a 1.0 even box and it will be just fine. As Sean mentioned, try out the polyfill and find the sound you like.
June 15, 200817 yr After displacement my box was 1.1 cuft. I added some stuffing as I do with all my sealed boxes. If you model the icon on a program youll see it will perform well from .85-1.3 cuft. I had less power and like an enhanced low end (not necessary with the icon in retrospect) so I went towards the larger spectrum. Very happy with the result. Edited June 15, 200817 yr by tyroneshoes
