How about the green stuff for spider to basket and surround to basket?

Seems to hold really well spider to basket - but I used a different, more flexible, glue for the surround to basket.

I'll be doing more testing with it... I have six more tubes to play with.

Any chance I could convince you to sell me a tube... or even part of a tube? (enough to recone some 15's?)

The flexible glue ? That stuff I feel is very proven... just as an experiment I re-coned a sub, including the spider landing, with the flexible glue... and dB-R uses it to test huge amps of 3kw or more and its holding the spider down too

I've got some 15's to build for a SS vehicle that i'm going to throw a ton of power at (I hope) ... you seem to be pretty impressed with how solid it is so I'd like to give it a try

It is extremely strong - in fact, a steel substrate will fail before the glue will. The only problem I've found is it doesn't like to soak into porous speaker materials. In the meantime while I continue to search I would suggest a high quality CA glue for your project

Ok. I actully got some work done on your future ride before I left to come 2 the beach.

Got a few questions for you. I am in the process of about to start a wall in a geo prizm(dont laugh). My original plan was to do 2 DC LVL 5 18's. The wall will be tuned to 32hz and im looking for a sub that can keep up on the lows. I slow alot of my songs down and wondered if you think the nightshades could do it? Would this call for the long coil version? Also what kind of time frame until these hit the reps??

Depends... how much power do you want to run ?

Stiffening subs up to handle more power mechanically takes away from the low-end (Fs goes up).

I don't have an ETA for production on the 18s - some will be made custom at added cost since without having extra motors I will have to cut apart 12s to make them.

plan is to run a single 3000 for 2 18's. Maybe later down the road it will be a 3000 per sub.
