i currently have 2 12" Fi Q's in a monochambered enclosure tuned to 32hz for maximum SQ but no amps

from what people have told me (2x) sundown sae-1000d should be perfect but my question is...

if both subs run 1000 rms each, would it be better running (2x) 1000 watt amps or (2x) 1500 watt amps???????????

also, which amps would be ideal if money wasnt an issue?

preferably brand name and specific model.

you make me so mad.. you posted like 6 times....

no one sae will be fine for each of the subs,... if u get one saz 1500d you only need one for 2 subs.....

If it were me, I would get two sae-1000d's unless the price on the saz-1500d was still under budget.

The pair of 1000d's would work fine, or a single 2000w mono block amp would work fine as well.

A good amp that will provide each sub with 1000rms will be sufficient. If you aren't too sure, then I wouldn't risk the extra power. The sundown 1k, rf 1k, or many many other 1000w amps will do fine. I'm cheap and would rather have one big amp than a bunch of small ones, so maybe a single sundown 1500 or RF 2k (or again any decent brand 2000w mono amp) would be what you're looking for.

2 sundowns. I've used the 2006ds and they were good for the price, but the sundowns would be better imo. Maybe if you can get a 2606d for cheaper.

Make sure you allow money/space for electrical upgrades you'll need.
