I had a similar "issue" when I was doing non-car audio related work to my car. I also have a relay connected to my turn on lead on the SAZ-1500d.

Basically, if I turn the car on and off real quick, the sub amp only won't come back on until I turn the head unit off and on.

I'm guessing it is something with the relay...not a big deal so I never really looked into it. I wasn't aware of that is was bad to power up a class D amp without speakers hooked up. I'm pretty sure I've done this a couple of times.

Not really worried about it...just putting this out there.
