Got 2-12" BTLs the old versions. Im trying to make up my mind on what to power them with between a AT-5000.1D or the AT-7000.1D. Its only going to be a daily blowthrough in a '97 Thunderbird. Which do u think I aught to go with? If I went with the 5K Id be saving needed space due to less batteries. If I went with the 7K its a $400 difference in price and Id have to get an extra rear battery on top of the ones I already plan to run.

So if it comes down to money, sounds like you have to make your own decision. . .

If you are asking which one is better. . . .let's just say the BTL will take 3500 each without any problem. . .

As far as actual output, if you go from 2500 watts to 5000 watts, you will gain 3 dB if you are really lucky. 2500 to 3500 will be a noticable difference to the ear. Worth the extra effort, once again you have to decide.

so little but so much said, lol. Think the extra $700 will probably pay off in the end.....might as well go with the 7K.
