Just sent this to "tech-at-usamps.com"

Hey, I bought this amp in January from Ikesound. Recently it started going into protect at low levels. I was troubleshooting and everything checked out. The sub was wired to 1 ohm and the speakers were wired to 4 ohms. There was no voltage drop. So I pulled the amp and looked behind and one of the caps has become disconnected from the board. how should i go about getting this repaired?

I hope it gets repaired.

well since i have to go through Ikesound to get an RMA number it might take awhile. I'm considering just fixing it myself since nothing is burnt and the componet is in a very easy to reach area.

here is the reply I got from Ikesound.

hi the item you purchased is a refurbished item, and it has a 90 day warranty with us. We would not be able to issue an RA number. Thanks

Customer Service

ikesound.com

Which I sent this reply and attachment.
The ad that I had bought the item from stated that it was not a refurbished item. So can I have my RA number.

well after sending them the pic and them balatantly telling me they advertised it as refurbed and us amps doing nothing about it I can no longer reccomend us amps to anyone. As of now to me this company is a joke and can't belive they would let someone like this represent their product.

BBB complaint has been filed and I'll do an IC3 later as well as calling my bank and reporting online fraud. This is all a load of crap.

ike sounds as a huge nah say base.

BBB does nothing... all that is a servise that help companys better them selfs.... IF thay are a member.

its not fraud.

you payed for your amp and you for your amp.

and us amps is not owned by ike sounds... so dont tell people not to buy us amps.... just tell them no ike sounds.

if i were selling us amps and you were mad at me do you think us amps would spank me?

US Amps doesnt have anything to do with Ikesounds false advertisment. as with all US Amps stuff your supposed to go through the dealer you bought it fomr not us amps themselfs.

try emailing [email protected] and tell him your situation, maybe he can help you, maybe not. I just dont really see how this is thier problem when ikesound are the ones whom sold it.

As far as a company like that representing them, they get thier product from outside sources.

I have now had to go out side normal channels but He is getting his RA# shortly. I find it very very funny that he can blame US Amps for Ike Sounds short comings. But any ways. I sent the email to this guy and all he wants to do is blame the manufacter for someone elses errors.

Accordman you have seen me on Steve's forum for the longest time. I always give the most honest reply no matter how bad it hurts.

i have no problems with you, hence why i was trying to get him into contact with you.

OK I'm not mad at US amps per se, I'm mad that they would let a waste of a company like Ike sound respresent them.

However Greg has pulled through for me and seems to be a real kick ass guy. I truly appreciate what he is doing. Now that I see what has gone on behind the scenes I feel like a jack ass and am truly sorry to Greg an US amps. Ike sound on the other hand can eat a dick.
