Without pushing the 3000 to the limits you will be alright - it is quite efficient.

thx considder it sold btw does it matter what freq the sine wave is when i do the mutilmeter test on the rca'outputs?

If the deck has 8v outputs, why do you have to turn it up all the way ? You will get max output from the amplifier at a lower volume of the deck. Only thing you have to do is know when to stop turning the volume knob..

ya i suppose its like with any other deck once you have set the gains you dont go past that special digit, problem is you always get other people wanting to touch your bottons.. but i will keep the bamboo at hand so i can ninja them

I like the bamboo idea fing05.gif

Between 40 and 60hz. I generaly use 50hz for subwoofers.

Just make sure it is not in the crossover range so its not being cut out. Around 40-45 Hz should be a safe bet.

jolly good, promise last question hehe I take it one pin of the multi meter in the hole and the other on the sleave(outer part of the connector) of the RCA?

yes the pin is the posative and the sleve is the ground but be very careful that when you are measurung the voltage that you dont allow them to touch
