Posted August 22, 200817 yr ok the issue is channel 4 of the amp does not work. amp has never really been used. its still under warranty so ill be sending it in sometime in the future just curious how many come out of the box with a messed up channel? i just used channels 1 2 for my comps and bridged 3 for my coaxials for right now. great amp just has an issue.
August 22, 200817 yr Could be from before we started QC testing them w/ the clamp meter on each channel. Before that we tested 100.4s and 100.2s bridged and without clamping the output you wouldn't know a channel was out as it still played. Pretty rare but a very few did ship with one messed up channel before we learned about the potential for one channel to be out. I am out of 100.4s so if you could send it directly to db-r with a copy of your invoice so he knows who owns the amp - I'll pay for your repair bill. Write a note on the invoice copy for Chris to contact me so I can take care of it. Sending direct to Chris will take almost a week off of the turn-around DB-R Electronics11803 Schmidt RdWaller, TX 77484
August 22, 200817 yr Yep. We can get it fixed up right away, as some of the units that were QC'ed had the problem and Jacob put them to the side for me to refurb and I already know what the problem is, and it's a simple repair. And once we fix it, it's fixed, won't come back. All of the 100.4's that had a similar problem to what you have going on we have refurbed and sold and not a single person has complained of any problems at all.
