I am trying to figure out how the night shades compare to the digital design subs for a spl vehicle. I am wanting to know how loud the night shades are to the dd subs. with the same rms levels. I guess i would like a comparison btw the 9500 series and the 3500 series against the night shades. Any one with some experience here?

in terms of SPL, box design is a huge factor.. more so than sub choice in most cases imo...

Not sure that anyone has done a direct swap comparison.

hearing both subs...i believe its safe to say there both loud but the nitshade is more of a low end monster than the dd 9500 series sub.. there both loud but the niteshade will do it a slightly lower frequency...and thats from hearing both subs...yea the setups were different but both setups was subs up port back..
