Ignorance is ignorance no matter what kind of equipment is involved :)

He needs to learn the fundamentals, and that could happen with the current equipment :) I'm not surprised he doesn't know much, he bought it turn-key. But since you didn't mention any kind of SPL numbers, hard to quantify anything at this point...

yeah but there is a big difference between stupity and ignorance.(well not so big really) stupid can't be fixed, but ignorance can be remedied
