ok I messed around with everythin today and here is how it went. i ran all the wired for the RCA ground, and reground the HU to the same point i connected them up to the radio. i left out my noise suppressor, which smelt burnt when i took it out. i turned on the alpine amp and there was no whine but alot of static. so i took of the grounds, and still static. so then i started switchin RCA wires all around on the radio and the amp until i found that one channel on the RCAs was causing all the static. im about to go pick up a new one.

then i turned on the Sundown amp and turned it off and no thump. so i was happy, but then i tried to play music and no sound came out. so i took of the grounds tried it again turned on and off and it thumps again. so i wired up my relay to turn on the amp and turned it on again, when i turned it off it still made the thump noise. so i figured it was the amp messin up. I started to take the everythin back off, put the remote turn on from the radio back to the amp, but i figured id give grounding the RCAs another try and this time it worked. no thump and it played music.

so thanks to all of yall for your help.

Problem solved. Typical Pioneer issue...

well never mind.. i put the new rca in and it still didnt work. it was just silence from the left front channel that slowly turned to static that got louder and louder, i tried the ground again. and still static. so im pretty sure its the radio. so once i get anothe bonus from work im about a month ill be gettin a new alpine deck.. unless i find one thats better..

but for now i used a y cable to split the rear channels to power my all the speakers. it works, but for techno music its sounds confusing

but still thanks for the tips that help get that annoyin thump away

How far back is back in the day? I had a head unit from 2000 from them that did it.
