Attached pic is your amp on the breadboard playing music for the first time.

Pictured configuration is 12AX7 input and 6CG7 driver.

What I am listening to now is 5965 input 6CG7 driver.

Overall the amp sounds gorgeous with the 5965, just not enough gain <sigh>.

Anyway, the amp is running ultra quiet thanks to my power supply design. I don't even have the anti-noise circuit installed yet, not have I felt a need to adjust the hum pots.

I'll keep you posted.

steve, that sucks about the talks....is there anyway u guys can get the national chapter (can't think of proper word) to step in and make ur local union as for mor etalks? or is it the company who's balking? if it's the company, maybe a lawsuit and/or arbitraitor are in order...
