Can't you just get a conversion kit of sorts? Pulling the bottom half off an outboard is teh easy.

I have found a couple on line for less than three. So these people here can keep em' . If and when I do decide to go that route. Don't believe I will purchase localy

Well, I just learnd that my bro got drugged last night in Aggieville. He can't remember anything at 11pm-5am and woke up at the Shell station in town... But hes alright so its all good, jsut got his wallet stolen, w/ a debit card, drivers lisence, K-state ID, but all those are replacable, but I'm glad that hes alright. *sigh of relief*

Yeah for some. The motor I have currently is to small and old though. It's a 1956 evinrude fast twin 15hp. It will push my little john boat about 19-20mph with two people and gear.

Yes sir, it tis pretty easy with mine as well. Two bolts, and undo the shift linkage. Then pull the lower unit off. Mine is major pita putting it back together though.

First I though his g/f dumped him (she's in Australia right now...), then mom said something about a wallet getting stolen, I checkd the Facebook (lol) and saw that he went out last night and immediatly thought of when I wnet out w/ one of my best friends and his brother and ended up in a 16 on 3 brawl (cops showed... Yay!) and though it happened w/ my brother. If that woulda been true, I would have been ready to kill someone. Which If I hear who did it, I will kill them.

But anywho.... Yay for just having a headache and everythigns ok.

Not as bad as pulling off I/O drives. I used to have a 30' Sea Ray Sundancer and rebuilt both outdrives. Putting the frigging exhaust boot back on took longer than the rest of it.

Mine comes off with 7 bolts and a little linkage pin, uber easy.
