  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

I just can't make up my mind about anything. :)

I work hard at hardly working :)

Live/Work on a farm, 3,000+ acres, hay, and about 3,500 hogs

Good lawd that's a lot a bacon :)

mmmhhmmmm french fried taters, and bacon mmmhmm :)

mmhmmm and some biscuits mmhmm :)

And a fully stocked shop, and a father thats a mechanical engineer with a machine shop thats is filled with his play toys.  So I can get any metal pieces made I would need for somethin, plus hes a master fabricator.  Yay!

Sounds sweet, I have noticed a lot of farmers are like that. Does that come from being so far out in the country ? :)

We don't have a lot of farmers around here. Just country bumpkin billys :)

Got lotsa people with the inbred big forehead though :)

Theres the farmers that have some tools and can't really fix anything much, and then theres people like us who don't take any vehicle to a shop to get it fixed, we have the tools and knowhow to fix everything right ourselves. Dad's an engineer and the other fella who works with us use to be a John Deere mechanic. Plus, its expensive as hell to get stuff fixed at the dealership. Plus, being in the boonies dosen't help either.

Last planting season, we had to split our planter in half and have dad weld it up, got that taken apart and back together in two days. Have had final drives go out on the combine and the tire basically fall off (the big front ones, not the back ones :) )Just so much stuff to break, kinda have to have the tools and knowledge to fix it. Just comes with the job I guess.

I think it's in the state motto or something " incest is best" :)

Cool, never spent more than a couple weeks each summer when I was a kid on a farm. :)

Just do like they do around here. Slap an orange triangle on the back, paint farm use on the side. And drive it like ya stole it :)

LOL @ the state motto

In our town (~500 people) there is a sign that says "Ya'll come back now Ya hear"  as your leaving town.  As if pepole need reassurance that they are with a bunch of rednecks in a small town...

True story nick has probably seen it. there is a little place up the road here that is called new castle. TO this very moment, there is a sign hanging on a tree smack dab in the middle of the town. THat reads " Don't let the sun set on yer black ass in new castle " THere's just a touch of racism in this area still :(
