Read the description...they're not lying.

All the reviews I've read of the Yugoslavian tubes say they're great when they work, but they have a tendency to become microphonic at times. The Ei Golds are just hand selected ones for low noise and microphonics.

Or if you don't need quite as much gain in the preamp section, there are new old stock GE 5751's around that also sound killer...with about 70% of the gain.

It's not critical, but it may be nice having them relatively close in transconductance.

Some people place way too much emphasis on tube matching, when in fact, close is usually good enough.

oNE of these days Im going to take the time to learn about tube amps, maybe even purchase/build one. Thats a long way down the road though.
