i have the drill, i have the bits, and i have resonances that i cannot pinpoint,

if i had an extension cord and could pinpoint the damn things i'd be drilling the door. I am beyond tired of it, the door panels are so damn complex the sounds could be coming from anywhere, i've deadened the panel and the inside of the door (as much as possible)

god i can't wait to start working on the fiero's audio system, if i get a weird rattle in it i can just pop the door skin off and watch what moves

i could use some all thread, but i have no way of cutting it

Just a replacement set of power tubes, binding posts, twisted 18awg speaker wire...and a catalog I think.

These don't have the crackle and noise the other ones did...think they were just worn out.

Tubes with thoriated tungsten cathodes like the SV811's last for years longer than regular zinc cathodes, but when they go, they really go quickly.

i thought the crackle was there to let you know it was good? like a nice fireplace at x-mas time
