That's like my "soldering by feel" approach.

I accidently left the iron on and laying on the bench...brushed up my arm against it, didn't feel anything until I smelled my skin bubbling

I did that one time, except i dropped the soldering iron and i was bare footed, turn to bend down and pick it up and my foot landed right on it. Only i felt it immediately after i put almost all of my weight down on it. I jumped about 10ft in the air then stood peg legged whispering "ow ow ow ow ow ow" for about 5 min.

For callased (SP) feet though. Just turned white with brown around the edges. No real "burn" per say, just burnt the dead skin away.

You can't make up stuff that good.

Got any tricks on aligning the cart in the headshell? I used the overhang gauge to get the stylus to where it should be, but I'm sort of eyeballing where the main body should be relative to the rest of the headshell. I think I've got it pretty good, but since I don't have a real cartridge alignment tool yet, this is as good as I can get it...

getting off work early freakin rocks today!!!!

I must say. The CD3434 is by far the best sounding head unit ive heard to date as far as the HU amplifier out goes. Just as good as my IS2080 only not quite as loud.

Now flakko just needs to get back at me so i can get my IS2080 fixed.
