Some noobx ICIX :bandwagon2: (on SD) is saying that its ironic that I would mention that I would prefer to buy a Mach5 18 over an eDuh 19ko.
Some noobx ICIX :bandwagon2: (on SD) is saying that its ironic that I would mention that I would prefer to buy a Mach5 18 over an eDuh 19ko.  Are you pucking kidding me?

I can't handle those idiots either.

that smilie could not be more perfect,

I feel bad for those gulliable people who are new to the world of this stuff and get roped in to ICIX and think eDuh is the tits magee and have no knowledge of how many people have been screwed or what ever.

And then they cop some fake attitude thinking its the best and won't take other recommendations. ndizzle for instance. That is the worst part of the I-net having morons helping the uninformed.

I get a kick out of watching the latest boners turn to chit. All I heard for a couple years was ED. Then the aaarggh. :)

Hence why I try to stay away from brand advice :)

Never owned an eduh product to this day. Nor will I ever :)

i've got to get around...

might be changing jobs, getting back into the welding/fabrication field. i have an interview/weld test if i want to go today....

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

what kind of welding do you do? how'd you get into that?

i've been wanting to learn how to for the longest time

what would you recomend as a good way to learn?

MIG..stainless, carbon, galv steel and aluminum

TIG..stainless, carbon, chrome moly and aluminum

Stick...stainless, carbon and galv steel.

i live by transcraft trailer's...look at a semi hauling a flat bed. if it says transcraft, i built them just like it...lol...that's how i started. small town, big employer...it's kinda like the military around here..every one serves there..lol...

how to learn? take a course. learn the basics..and then throw it all out. grab a machine and practise. the course will get you started, but actually doing it will get you good.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

badass :)

so like a community college course? and then dick around with one for a while?

sounds like a good plan..

... if it werent for all those damn engineering classes though :(

That is why I don't talk about what I have untill I get new stuff...so I don't seem like a bandwagoner (spelling or correct term). The only thing I have that most people around here don't know what it is would be my Orion 4002 amp and my Cerwin Vega sub.

Got done working on the enclosure (aka, Nicole) for the night.  Got polyfill plastered on the inside, wasen't real surehow to put it on the braces or if it even needed it on the braces, so it looks kinda ugly.  Then again, its on the inside of the box and will not be seen so who cares...

the uglier it is on the inside, the better it'll sound

tomorrow, wifey willing, i will be running the harley inthe 1/8th. afriend ran his vtx1800 into the 8.4's...so i wanna try and beat that....problem is two weeks ago a 23 year old, just returned home from iraq, motorcycle racer died after losing control after tripping the beams at the end. seems like he got into a wobble while slowing down, smacked the guardrail and decapitaited himself. now the wifey thinks i'll do something similiar...thing is, that's the first fatal crash there sincie the track opened up in the late '60s..

oh well..you only live once..hehe...

i'll post times saturday..woowhooooo

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

have fun and be safe

pics/times por favor

Sounds a lot more interesting than our discussion. We were trying to figure out why one brand of 100w light bulb is brighter than another brand 100w bulb :)

efficiency ;)

So why are they both rated at 100w ? Doesn't make sense man :)

That's what I'm here for . To fight the good fight :)

Woo hoo , get to see a relative haven't seen in a long time at a family reunion this winter. :)

autographs anyone ? :)

Great everyday amplifer, not sure what model vega, but I will always love the Vega Vega's, sounded like poo and needed a large ported box but got silly loud and were fun to mess with.

the 100w rating is how much electrical energy the light bulb uses, not how much light energy the bulb puts out

Good answer :)

I think it is the Xmax...or maybe Vmax...bad memory. It's Dual 4 ohm. It got loud in my big box I made. I think it was like 2 cubic feet or something.
