  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

used to have a cover, but it was black and fake-suedeish, not the knobbly rubbered kind.

Took it off because palming it is easier without anything on there, better feeling of control

Not if that 70kph cruising speed is right...that's dangerously slow :(

Unmodded Mogs top out around 60mph...I've heard of a few mods out there to get them over 70

Squires must be where all the military peoples hang out...

Did you compare them both completely on axis by chance? I am curious as I haven't heard the Morels.

If you are unloading the Seas, how much do you want for them?

nope, no on axis listening. And while i don't have a lot of experience with this, if i had to say what the sound was that i didn't like, i'd call it airy. The only reason i didn't use it is because everyone uses that word like it's a good thing. I felt like it almost made the sound too crisp, i prefer a warmer sound.

Hmm, thinking of removing my Excels and making little bookshelves or perhaps large TL speaks the detail sounds like a match. Then the car might get a pair of the Usher mids.

blah indeed.

off to Fedex to ship the Klipsch's...big arse-heavy pigs

Why my life sucks, By Ryan Mentag

So last night I get happy over the fact that Mach 5 has arrived at the SSaudio store. I proceed to attemp to buy a pair of MJ-18s, but no, I get an error message every time I try to checkout. Nothing fixes it. I was also trying to place an order with Mark himself for some other things, but the store listed them as "out of stock." No biggie, PM Mark and all is well. Fell asleep and forgot to finish my order. No biggie, I'll do it when I get home. Well. . . .

Yeah, go to work this morning, get inside K-Mart, get the CC, proceed outside on my way to HD and I notice a large puddle of coolant under my vehicle that I just put 3 new gallons of coolant in last week when I replaced the water pump. Yeah, so I don't sweat it because HD is right up the street. Hop in the car, drive to HD, no problem. Got a little hot, but nothing big. Now, I live 30 minutes fro the Big K, so the drive home was inevitably going to be the worst. So I dump in the gallon of coolant I always carry in the trunk and start the drive home. No sooner do I get to the first light, this bitch is on the A on NORMAL. Hmm, should be good as long as I can keep driving, but NO. I have to hit EVERY FUCKING REDLIGHT so the car has EVERY CHANCE IN THE WORLD to overheat. And of course, it does, several times. Took me over an hour to get home. Get home, pop the bitch up on jackstands, hole in the lower radiator hose. Now, I would have replaced them when I did the pump, but I checked t and it was A-okay. Guess it was only good for another week. So, I go get in the truck to get a hose, but I forgot that last week the brakeline broke. So, after I finally get the truck stopped, by a lovely Tulip tree, I get it in the driveway, get underneath, and not only is the brakeline broke, all the way up IN the framerail, behind the gas tank, which I filled last week (38gal), and of course I have to remove the tank to get to the lines, BUT, the fuel line also has a nasty hole in it, and of course, when I peeked under the truck it decided to relieve some pressure right in my fucking eye. So now, I have two inoperable vehicles, no boom, AND, it gets better. . .

Got my replacement amp and new front stage last weekend for the Taurus. Got it all installed on Sunday, well, today, of course I got pissed at the car and turned up the stereo, well, upon getting halfway up, I hear a clanking coming from the ID. Sounds a lot like clipping, but a LOT louder. Can't be lead slap, they just aren't long enough. Can't be clipping because I set the gains with a scope. So what is it? Pull the driver out of the box, which toook another hour due to my paranoia and making things difficult for thieves, and what do I have but a torn spider. Now keep in mind, I have total of $228 invested in this entire system and $100 of that is the sub itself. So I will be damned if I put any more money into this motherfucker. . .

And. . . . . Well, I won't go on anymore. It's far too depressing.

That car is a black hole that destroys anything in it. Better get out before it gets you too...

Anyone here handy with Excel? I have a pretty simple question...the answer is right in front of me but yet I can't seem to make things work :(

What is it Jim??

Trying to use Solver to do optimization...weighted moving averages and exponential smoothing. So I'm taking inputs from two or three cells, I want them to add up to 1 and be non-negative. I know how to set non-negativity from the Solver options menu, but every time I select the cell ranges and set the constraint to equal 1, it sets all the parameters to one instead. I can't enter the =SUM function into the left side of the constraints menu either.

Screen shot...

Output cell for the formula is the 2998 whatever...that's what I'm trying to minimize. The formula is getting inputs from F2-F4, these are what I want to sum to 1...so each has to be a fraction of one. I'm looking for what to put in the "Subject to Constraints" box to make it work, because whenever I select F2-F4 and make it equal to one, it sets each individual parameter equal to one instead :( And it won't take =SUM(F2:F4) as an input either.

Like I said, probably an easy solution, but it's missing me ATM...

And just as I posted that, I have a fix :)

on to the next problem...blargh

Get Kent over and bring out the heavy weaponry...shoot vids

eh shooting a car gets boring really quickly, you could get inventive with some gunpowder though

got the stratus dash...err the front of the dash that covers the tweets... covered today. Used a faux suede stuff, will probably fade very quickly but fudge it, i'll just cover it again
