Maybe you need to gain down the h/u. From somewhere I thought the Sundowns couldn't take a full 8v...not that it happens very long anyways.

yeah, they're only designed to take 6v, that's why i only turned the volume up on the HU til i saw 5.4v on the RCAs going into the amps

Sounds sick man..........God I cannot wait to start working on my car!!!!

my friend with the volvo came by my house.

we played a little with my 9813. i really like time correction. when we switched back to his player, it seemed as the car got smaller

he wanted to turn it up.

it's truly not a very bad thing, not yet. it's truly not a cardinal sin, though it is close. it's truly not something i would do without much thought.

it's truly........

a 1986 ford mustang 5.0 w/ 5 spd. i get it this evening or tomorrow evening. i mentioned it before, but things didn't happen very quickly. as of yesterday, it's mine. needs a few things, but i have time. going to be fun to toy with, throw at the 1/8th mile. and for the price, i can sink another grand in it and still make money if i decide to sell it, lol.

pictures as soon as it hits the driveway!

Good luck on the Stag Kent. Can't wait for pix, I need to take more shots of the 528i. She is a beauty, and I really can't want to stretch its legs and take a trip in it or do some tweaks. Sean can you point me towards your favorite online place for performance parts?

Start with cheap OEM parts for replacing whatever needs it:

www.alloembmwparts.com

On the performance side, I can't say that I do all that much modifying; however, the local Bimmer club has a bunch of guys who are that I am tied in with pretty well. What are you looking for?

See this is where I usually go nutty, went way too far on the Merkur, did too much work on the Explorer, trying not to do any more performance stuff to the sled....

but for the 528i, I am not touching the suspension. Usually that is the first thing I do, but this car rides too good to mess with. Just was going to stick with a few little tweaks for better breathing and spark.
