Dammit, MDF would save me a *ton* of money, but I'm at a loss on how to make it look pretty.

paint, mdf can be painted to look like glass with minimal work . Veneer , 1/8" then stain the veneer and poly it . More work but you get that wood look I know you love

I told a guy here at work about using welding wire instead of the expensive stuff . Dumb arse went and bought a spool of wire for a wire feed mig welder

i have connections in the wire shop B)

just in case it gets ugly and i need big arse welding wire.

i've seen a guy here asking about using expensive wire for his starter motor. no way you can use it. the motor will tell it's "audio" wire and it won't work right.

I don't get how you get it that high. I seed my downloaded stuff for days to weeks and yet my ratio is around 0.2. Is it because you download more popular music?

Partly. Have you uploaded any of your own stuff? Uploading and seeding new stuff helps out a ton.

Then again, I downloaded a Nina Simone two-disc set and that's been leeched like crazy lately So it's just not "popular" music that gets hit...
