SO I got dismissed from Jury Duty. When asked if I was concerned about anything, I told them, that I had a problem with the defendant not taking the stand. I understand the premise of innocent until PROVEN guilty, but in my mind, if you ARE innocent, then you will do everything in your power to reaffirm your innocence and to let everyone know your side of the story. I was told I cannot think that way for the trial, so I guess I won't work for them. Oh well.

  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

You know you are a ricer if...

-You have more stereo WATTS than engine TORQUE!

I'm gonna have to disagree there.

Same

we know:

1 watt = 0.00134102209 hp

HP=RPM x Torque/5252

To simplify we will use 5252 rpms as a baseline as all engines should be able to spin at that rate with decent power

Therefore

0.00134102209 (watts) = Torque

If we assume 100ft lbs then

100/ 0.00134102209 = x Watts = 74,500 watts

If we assume that by a ricer we will have someone claim peak watts at some unreal thd I think that the statement is then correct.

That doesn't work. You can't relate horsepower and torque as equals. Horsepower is work over time, so 1HP which equals 746 watts also = 550ft.lbs. per sec.

Bastard, pulling out technicalities on me. I was going to leave it in HP. :(

I understood what you were conveying. I just well, wanted to be an ass I guess. Sorry.

EVERYONE SHOULD BE IN THE CHAT, I'M BORED.

Awesome man, good to hear. ;)

Get home from two days on vacation ... unpacking my truck.

My neighbor's daughter comes running out from her house and I can't even understand a bloody word she's saying. She had just came from work and was going to check on her Dad who lives alone and has dementia which is rapidly progressing.

So fuck me, instinct runs my ass over there with my med kit in the truck and honest to God ... I've seen motorcycle rides torn apart limb by limb, psyc patients stab themselves with forks ...

It looked like he had fallen down the stairs and hit his head on the landing. What a mess - that's all I can really come up with. It took five of us, all fully certified, to move him into a position such that they could work on him. It was ... basically a ball of human all tangled together.

Take home message is simple. The guy should've been in the psyc ward at the hospital, in some sort of care home, had a nurse checking on him every couple hours, etc.

Damn that's crazy to hear steve.

Just heard they figure he was there nearly all day and had a series of strokes. They temporarily paralyzed him and apparently he isn't doing very well at all.

Didn't really want to see that after coming home from my vacation.

man that's horrible to hear. My grandfather has had a stroke and I know what that's like. I have to deal with people with all sorts of problems everyday(well working days) since I work at a hospital. Some day's it's just sad really.........

Damn steve..........chitty way to end vacation............Hope he does allright man........

I'm listening to an awesome trance mix right now. Been listening to it for at least an hour. By a group called Kuffdam & Plant, don't know if anyone has heard of them before but this is an amazing mix. Love it.

that is all.

Sorry no where near NY. Summer is off limits for work for me anyways, living in the midwest we have to maximize our warm weather time. Calling me an install person is teh funny.

We should all move to florida or something and solve that problem.

or Arizona :)
