Mine was waterproof , I just couldn't catch it before it went over the rapids. Like a 6 foot drop over them , so I couldn't chase it down in the boat.

anybody ever put a head unit in a subaru forester ? I need to put one in the in laws car . It looks like it doesn't need a dash kit , but I'm not sure.

Can't say that I have but mvw2 on diyma drives one. He just put in the Ural and replaced the JVC 8500.

I would have said yes it has the premium sound package, it was the only one they had on the lot but the $8k adder was a bit tough for me to swallow.

If you are looking at used, I am sure he is a decent guy and I know where he lives...only an hour from me. If it saves you money, think about it.

Already got it , I bought this one for them last year for christmas . Took it out of his honduh before he traded it in on the subaru .
