Hello.

There are stupid answers to questions indeed.

I asked ... "What would be the cause of alkalosis (pH rising above ~7.45) of the blood?" and I get "Yawning" ... duuurrrrr ....

I used an example with two turtles walking side by side and get "Can the turtles be swimming and diving instead of walking?" I then asked the girl if she was on mushrooms.

Other than that, not much else to report. Did an in-depth look/analysis of four common weight room exercises and traveled a bit in the past couple weeks doing a series of lectures around BC/AB/WA/OR/ID. Should contribute nicely to the doctorate work. Research has been slow but progressive, so I'm pleased thus far.

Training has been ... intense. Play like you're in first, practice like you're in second ... right? :)

Audio wise - I have been thoroughly enjoying my towers (averaging at least half an hour per day versus half an hour per week before) lately. Nothing new in the mobile world. Will be building something new next summer for sure.

Mom is looking at a new car and may dive into a entry-mid level BMW or Mercedes, so that will be interesting. She's shooting for next summer as her purchase date, so it will give her plenty of time to try out everything at least once.

Hope all is well with you guys - I'll be back around regularly this coming weekend I hope. I have some marking to do, lectures to create, and assignments to re-structure ... but I'll check in for sure.

I am going to wait till my roommate gets the carb for his '48 DeSoto all rebuilt before I finish the pictures though. I don't think a bunch of gaming nerds want to see the innards of an old single barrel carb laing across a bar.

I wouldn't mind seeing that :)

actually..that reminds me, a guy on the fiero boards wanted to switch his 3800 n/a over to carbs, everyone tried to tell him forget it, too much of a PITA to bother with, especially since there is so much backing for the fuel injection setup.

he schooled everyone and let them know carbs were the chit, just so you know, the buick grand national's 3.8L, a motor that was quite great we all know, was awesome and had a carburetor and was turbocharged. Why not go with carbs on the 3800 if the 3.8L turbo had carbs????

durrrrr

why the hell do people always want to do stuff the hard way?

Because they are dumbasses.

wait, he didn't realize GN's are injected?

and Buick 3.8's are totally different from Chevy 3.8's IIRC, 60* vs 90*

yea he had no idea the gn's were fuel injected, and they(3.8 vs 3800) have their displacement in common, as far as i know that's about it.
