wtf....just spent the past 30min hooking up different combo's of mine and julie's amp/sub to eliminate the problems...everything worked fine, so i reinstalled everything back in her car and everything is fine.....

won't know for sure until tomorrow when we can play it for a decent amount of time, but as of now everything checks out
