your definitions of rush hour are amusing. to me rush hour means under 30 in a 60, otherwise it is just traffic in which case cities like Chicago have "rush hour" 24 hours a day.

There is no way I could frequent the CA forums.

On FSC I read through a beautiful 6 page install thread only to read at the end that he should consider rear fill and in particular, the Infinity Kappa 4x6's. Makes me want to drive somewhere and slap a hoe.

There is community here. If I want to look for a deal I'll check CA, If I want to learn something I'll stay here

I haven't been through Houston in a long time where I didn't hit 30 in a 65 (65 in texas :) )

There is such untapped potential in caraudio.com...shame that goob is an awful admin.

I can post roughly once a day on DIYMA. That's about it. I admit I have been staying out of a lot of threads here because the topics just haven't been enticing me.

Oh, and I quit finding the racist jokes on caraudio.com funny a long time ago. The lounge cripples that site, in my opinion, because the garbage from there spills into other threads. One of the best things about the IHOP is that if it's junk, it's here and it stays here. And I realize some got their position as a moderator from a ton of ridiculous posts in the lounge, and that doesn't make sense to me. I have heard the rationale before "well, they post a lot, so they are at least here to be a good moderator" but that speaks nothing of their common sense and ability to assist the member base they serve.

edit: And I have nothing against some of the big-time posters at CA.com, but there are very few that I would be turning to for assistance running my site.

I should have used the word average 30, not just reach it.

I read it /\ that way first...somehow missed the site part and thought who would you actually ask for help from there. rofl.

Not talking about traffic, talking about the cops. 99% of the time traffic is fine so long as I take 59 to 288 to Pearland rather than driving on 59 straight through into Sugar Land. Honestly getting through Kingwood and the 59 to 288 changeover are the only problems I've really had driving in Houston really. So long as I don't have to make an emergency pit stop in Brookhaven/Sunny Side/FM-865 like last time and I'll be fine (and bullet free).

I found navigating traffic in Minneapolis pretty damn easy. I was surprised. Much more free flowing than here. Guess that is what happens when some forethought is used, and money too.

I noticed you did not ask me. Haha, but yes I totally agree about the big posters. I have been there a while and majority of time is spent in the main sections. But yeah, what he could do with that site, and what is being done are two totally different things. He gets high payout with little work.

From my experince rush hour in Houston is usually 5:30-9:30 in the morning and 4:00-7:00 or so in the evening. So long as you stay off the streets and feeder roads and the 610 loop though its really not that bad...usually...

You can not honestly tell me that you have no opinion on the results. You just made a post which implied your views under the 'new mods' thread.

Who, me? :P

I think for the most part I agree with the choices made. I think. Not re-electing Steve should be a crime, though.

It'll stay a cesspool regardless of good or bad moderation, because it's lacking an admin that gives a chit. Nothing will change unless that does...

And sadly that may be true. I'm not sure i agree with all the choices, including possibly myself. But i'm happy to do the job and will do my best to fulfill the requisite duties to the best of my abilities. I find myself spending much more time lurking here and on diyma lately, however. Something i was not counting on. But i needed information and these two sites are much more robust.

I will be trying to start more technical discussions over there as i work on my SQ build and hope some of the members who have disbanded will join, perhaps we can set a good example. At any rate, i will always come to this site when i want civil discussion and a fantastic resource.

I don't even know who you are there. :woot: for the bold.

that's Eugenics

and not just for little spurts at a time, that is just due to retarded drivers

Chicago drivers are horrendous

Actually better than ones in AZ, just a bit more aggressive but at least they are predictable and pretty adequate at actually piloting their vehicles. Down there I questioned people driving ability, in Chicago you just question how big of an ass are they going to be to you. Chicago is a fun city to weave through though. I miss that.
