So instead of studying, I'm drawing up the plans for my custom TV mount.

TV mount rated for 150+lbs anyone?

The one my brother made held 170lbs without anything breaking, and it wasn't fully welded either, and it has like a 2.5' reach on it too.

It isn't just me that goes overboard on building things, its the whole dang family.

Can't decide if I want to go with one or two pivot points on the side to side travel, on the tilt there will be a pivot point and a screw jack for adjustment. The one Logan and I build we made half moon style adjusting clamps for the tilt, the screw jack and pivot blocks design of mine should be vastly superior.

This is gonna be a hell of an entertainment center when I'm done, it'll probably weigh about 70-100lbs without the TV on it.

Needless to say if I was custom building this for someone it would be a 800$+ piece.

This was made to mount to the 4" steel center post on his spiral staircase in his old apartment though. I could make a different mount for it but its got to much reach for my needs.

We don't have a smilie that expresses my agreement with this statement. A - freaking- men I whole heartedly agree. There isn't single damn stock part on any car involved in nascars so called "stock car " racing.

They should make Nascar go back to production cars, put the standard cages and what not in them and have them go at it. I think it would be a lot more exciting to watch and we would have a lot more interesting cars show up on the lots.

I might watch it if it were actually stock cars. Hell make the bastards stop at the halfway mark, and give them 15 minutes to set up the car, and run the second half of the race the other direction around the track .

Ramos you must be getting old b/c I see the gap on both passenger and driver's side. Nice choice on the morels too unless he was just using morel grills ( could possibly be dynaudio too now that I think about it.)
