I am insanely happy about the asain comunity here. There are 3-4 asain markets near my apartment. Some are a bit americanised but pretty good.

Where abouts?

I live right next to the cathedral in downtown st paul.

It's literaly outside my back door. Down Uni there are tons of markets. Shuang Hur is one of my favorites, still can get variety and prices are ok, and they don't treat the 6'2 white guy with bad attitude.

Nice, my buddy live right in that area too. I think. How close is the science museum to that area? We ran into some crazy motherpucker or a crackhead .at burger king when I was there. He goes "Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas" like 10 times over as we are walking in....and it was pucking september or somewhere not really close to either.
