damnit, I can't find a boat for sale. two months of looking and I am now frustrated.

What kind of unit are you looking for?

A 21' dual console bassboat with preferably a Merc 250xs on it for less than $25k. Something that is geared towards big water handling and dry and not all out speed. Most importantly for that dough I want something that lights me up when I look at it.

Ranger 521 DVX -- 2003/2004

Gambler 2200 -- 2003/2004

Champion 223 / 206 / 210 -- 2002-2005

I am really the most excited about the Legend, but am not even sure if I fit in them yet. The Gambler has to really be the right color as some are downright butt ugly. The Champion as well as their graphic package isn't always something that turns my crank. The Ranger can't have a black bottom as they look funny to me.

Haven't been in a gambler in a few years. Do you still sit rather low in them while cruising ? Last one I rode in made me feel like I was sitting on the floor

Why is it that every call I get in my office is a wrong number? Granted I only get maybe 2 a month, but I can't remember the last time one was actually for me. Well, actually I do. About 3 months ago a coworker called me from down the hall about something quick but I didn't answer because I'm so used to it not being for me. He walks down here and is like "Why didn't you answer your phone?" haha.

I just have a little 18'8" Cajun with a Suzuki 150 at the moment. The W doesn't like being on it on Lake Minnetonka where our dock is though. Something about getting airborn in a boat just isn't her thing. Lots of fishing better happen this summer!

Ha getting airborn in a boat sounds like a heck of a good time too me. Maybe not for fishing, but for other reasons. Women... ah well

I am making it a personal mission to go fishing quite a bit more. My fiances brother loves to fish, so I think I will go out with him quite a bit. I think he has a couple row boats, but I may just rent one or buy a small power boat, I just hate thinking about the cost of a boat and the utter uslessness of it for the other 9 months.

Taking waves over the top and getting soaked however isn't so exciting...depending on how you look at it. Lots of 40' boats trudging across the lake doesn't exactly make for a smooth ride.

You'd die in a flats boat. Actually lots of people here bass fish out of walleye boats just for that reason. I am not that old yet though

I forgot how rough tonka is. I never go on that lake. It's a blast for socialising, but so busy and popular I've never just "relaxed" on it. I like smaller lakes, and if I'm fishing to eat, Bluegill/panfish/sunnies are more my style. Lake silvia is a GREAT one where my gramps had a cabin. It was nice and quiet. Gull lake in breezy MN isn't too bad either in the fall, but I always end up catching northern/muskie.

We are at 93% right now. Each month we chew up more. Might have to bump the plan up again.

Bass is the most fun to fish from my experience. Verry rewarding, and I never thought about going on fishing and then bikini patrol!

I always did one of the other. North woods experience, or miami in MN, never thought of getting a 2 for one!
