What are you majoring in Nick?

I actually just graduated in December with a BA in Geology and minor in business. Took me a while in school, 5.5 years. doh. But I went in as an electrical engineer but decided after one semester that it wasn't for me. So I switched to business and was in that for 2 years, thinking I wanted to be a stock broker or something like that you know, fast paced, dealing with predicting markets and such. That is, until I found out they are really basically just salesmen. and I f'ing hate salesmen (no offense to any of you in here that are. at least until you try to sell me something :)). So I switched to geology because I've always liked the natural world and I found that I really enjoyed it. But I had a decision to make. Get a BA and stay only two years, or go for the BS and probably stay 3 more, possibly more, because I'd have to take a lot more and higher up gen eds than I had already completed. So I opted for the shorter route because I was already getting sick of school and getting loans to pay for it.

well, now that you all know my life story, haha.

Hate salesman lol, try you hate bad salesmen. Ever bought anything and enjoyed the experience?

Online yes :turkey:

crappies, eh?

i hate phone salespeople, pushy salespeople, salespeople who act as though you don't exist and salespeople who know less about their product(s) then i do. otherwise, it's all good.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Those are the only salespeople I have ever come across.

The only good salesman that I have come across is the appliance guy at the local Lowes. He honestly knows what the hell he is talking about...a true rarity these days...

I don't think a business degree automatically makes you a salesman, well, any more than we're all basically salesmen anyway for ourselves.

A commission-only job would scare the living shit out of me, but being able to "sell" your ideas to other people can happen anywhere...in any field...

Edit - just read you wanted to be a broker. I'd agree, that would drive me crazy, but I think the stock market should be heavily reformed now anyway :)

i just slept 13hrs

exam week is hell. i can't believe i was that tired.

hmm min-ji's roommate is in her room and just filled the house with sounds of "oh oh oh oh owwww ohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

she's alone....

time to buy a motherboard....ugh

need to find a copy of winxp home too, i have a good key but can't find my disk anywhere

I have a copy of XP with SP2, key works and can be used on as many machines as you want.

Do a search for "XP SP2 educational" on TPB or I could just burn what I have, if I can figure out how to burn the ISO to make it bootable again :D
