Another rough night here. It's been nearly 1.5 years since I have been on a real date. There was this girl that I was seeing and she wanted to take things painfully slow but I was a nice guy and never pushed. I find out tonight that she just wants to be friends now. I was fine with that, until I found out that last week while I was at work and she was intoxicated she made out with my best friend who was completely sober. She was just going to hide it from me instead of owning up...

Seriously how hard is it to be nice to a nice guy.

It also happens that this best friend was sleeping in my bed when I got home the morning after. Spent the entire weekend over and never even mentioned anything. Let alone did he try and stop her even though he knew about my relationship.

Not a bad spring cleaning. I have gone from 5 really good friends to 0.

I say this because I WAS you. And I went about changing the wrong way, and you sound close to it.

"Nice" guys finish last because they do not express what they want. Be it fear or out of a show of respect to women or anything else. Almost every nice guy I know isn't nice to themselves and ends up unhappy and unsatisfied as they will go out of their way to make everyone else comfortable, and never ever concern themselves about their needs or wants. That only leads to one thing and that's resentment self destructive behavior and probably being a real shiz head. I chose to be a shiz head for a few months...

I don't want to see anyone else do that. Nice guys should finish first, but they also need to be honest. Weather you want to admit it or not, you were'nt honest with this girl. You wanted more, but she wasn't down with that. So you stayed, basicaly saying it's ok, when really it's not.

I hope it works out for you man! You actualy do sound like a good guy... just what ever you do don't get down on yourself, and start bringing up your standards for youself. Good call on getting rid of the baggage though. Sometimes you gotta clean house of the crap people in it.

i REALLY wish i could come up with uses for the other buttons on a classic NES controller because I have a few and would love to make the fiero a push button start and flush the controller into the dash or center console, hooking up the 'start' button to start the car. just seems like such a waste if all the other buttons do nothing.

i guess with some work i could make it work the power windows, holding A or B to dictate which window and have the up and down on the control pad actually move the window

i don't control anyone but i make it very clear when something doesn't sit well with me. usually this ends up as being controlling because a girl just changes to meet what i want, which isn't what i want at all. the reason i adore this current girl is because she will stand toe to toe with me when she believes just as strongly as i do. That way when the argument is over we both know where we stand.

I just asked my girlfriend to do this like last week. I'm not talking like full on arguments, nobody really wants those. Just little debates, like why gas is high, why I think my way of doing something is better, war in Iraq, etc. She always just says she doesnt' want to talk about it. I think she's afraid I'll make her feel foolish, worried about being wrong, or something. But that's not my intention, I just like to share ideas and have intelligent conversations. I know she's smart, she just doesn't want to use it I guess. she said she'd try.

Both in the price range online, the new one is cheeper, and has more mega pixels... but only by 20% and that doesn't seam to be that much if the image is not as clear or has more noise in it. Can anyone shed some light and tell me a good reliable place to buy for cheep? Non ebay maybe.

I haven't looked in a long time, but am a big fan of buying one from a camera company as the optics are the trick. The bigger the lense the better. Canon & Nikon are usually all I look at. I will add I don't really know that much about them, but do know something about optics.
