... wow.

I did like dun brothers, but I didn't really pay attention. I am not prepaired to spend 2k on coffee gear just yet. I would love to try a cup though.

I am partial to espresso, and that is what those machines are for correct?

yes, the machine is not as important as the grinder. If you had a $700 budget, I'd spend $500 of it on the grinder and $200 on the machine.

hrm...

elaborate please? I never knew the grind was so important! I would love a cappucinno every morning for sure.

elaborate how? It is like installation to a stereo. :P

Even consistent grind is 100% required otherwise the steam or water will take a different route.

why beemer? i can see you on a 1200 sporty, and those can be had cheap.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

um, that is a girl's bike

lol...yes and no. yeah, a sporty is known as a girls bike, but that's not it's original intention. it was supposed to be the sport version of the big cruisers. of course it didn't turn out that way.

but there are the new nightsters and a few others that don't look all that bad, and kind of have a retro look to them. but if jim wants to be different, that is definitely NOT the way too go, lol

My doors need sound deadoned as well as my panels...............a heatgun would be usefull if I actually had a garage I was doing it in

Don't need a garage, either, I did mine outside, in the snow :P But I don't recommend it...

Waiting for BM'ers to pop up for sale around here :( And nobody I know is into European bikes, all the people I know here who ride are Harley folk...

Usually Harley folk actually respect BM'ers though, can't say that about rice burners

lol, yep we do. that and goldwingers. IMO, those are the only true bikers left, save for hardcore harley guys. beemer and wingers actually ride everywhere, no such thing as a trailer for them. the harley/custom trendies trailer everywhere and only ride for teh appearance. it's gotten so bad there is supposed to be a trailer built that will actually put miles on your scoot to help the appearance of a trendy being a real biker.

On this day ten years ago at the young age of 20 I paid cash for a brand new 1998 540i.

damn

wow

Hands down probably the best car I have ever owned. It's long gone now but that thing held up to the huge number of miles I put on it every year.

On the topic of Cadillacs, my grandparents picked up an '04 STS with 13k mi on it the other week, they have been driving Cadillacs for years and even they commented on how muich GM has been cheapening them up on the inside. Not as impressed with the quality of the interior as any of their other ones for sure.

And there is something inherently wrong with opening the hood and staring at a v8 that is sideways... :(

Damn front wheel drive car, but hey, it rides nice and has plenty of power. The fricking information system tells you that you have hit Top Speed at 112, then it tells you that the fuel cut off has engaged...

It's been a while since we heard anything about the proposed Anaheim-Las Vegas maglev train. As of Friday, the project is moving forward as part of a transportation bill signed by President Bush that puts aside $45 million for the 300 mile-per-hour train. While the project initially called for a $3- to $5 billion budget, this little chunk of money will get things rolling (or, as the case may be, floating). The train is projected to whisk people from Disneyland to Vegas in under two hours. No word on proposed launches or actual construction, but we assume Disney will get involved with some extra cash at this point.

I believe the readout would say "no boxers detected. Please keep the car under 100km/h. Taking corners more than 8 km.h over the posted speed is no longer reccomended."

Actually kinda excited about washing the car, it'll be the first vehicle I've called mine that actually looked good. First truck was an '82 Dodge 1/2ton, left side was all dented up (previous owners), then a '89 4x4 S-10, bad rust (a geyser erupted on it), then a '90 1/2ton Chevy, the infamous chevy paint job that falls off...
