Torque steer in a fwd car is interesting... All I've ever hotrodded is a rwd platform.

I hope you don't have a lot of winter driving, the difference from fwd to rwd is huge.

FWD in the winter is easy. Just know how to use your ebrake in emergencies.

That JBL will do power so if you do math right and have everything in a decent box, setting your gains with the DMM won't kill anything. Make sure that he isn't dumb about anything though...and that amp won't like .5ohm

Haven't read everything in detail but you can wire 2 MAW10's for 1 ohm (dual 4 IIRC)

the box says 2*2ohm, but when I wired them in parallel they read 2ohms each, so that means they're dual 4ohm. So either the box is wrong or we got sold the wrong sub... after I wired them they read 2ohms each, so after hooking them up to the amp, that should have been a 1ohm final load which is what I thought it was when installing and also what I tuned it for... After he went back to college station I looked at the sub box and it said they were 2*2ohm so I freaked and thought they were wired to 0.5ohm but the box is wrong I guess.

The box does not state the correct impedance. The website states dual 4 ohm only.

Correct. The box's the MAW's were shipped in were wrong. It is Dual 4 for sure

nah, going to Madison would just add another ~500 miles on to my trip

my brother got married this last saturday. It was a real fun weekend. They had a metal arch over them while they were doing the ceremony and the wind almost knocked it over in the middle of it. But I caught it. Not sure if my brother and his wife noticed or not, probably not. But after the ceremony one of my brother's friends said "That was a great save, you probably saved the wedding. Too bad that also lost you the MVP of the ceremony because if that would have fell we could have won $100,000 on funniest home videos." haha.

I also spent about 6 hours total in the casino between saturday night and sunday and came out 10 dollars ahead. Not too bad I say. Had my normal down-on-the-slots-but-made-it-up-on-roulette thing going on. Maybe I should just play roulette all the time. ha. But slots are fun.

so I'm sorry to come over here and sound like a little tit but I need some more mature insight and answers. My girlfriend that I've been with since last November broke up with me yesterday and I'm at a loss for words. I've never felt so horrible before in my life. She just says things aren't the same anymore she still loves me but she just doesn't feel the same anymore. She says she's going through a rough time. I just don't understand.
