for the ancient table, It was totaly canabalized accept the slate.....

Someone heard I had that table and purchased the legs and rails for 600 bucks. It was nearly 100 y/o, I wish someone would have wanted the whole thing.

The body that holds the slate is now holding up the second row couch for my HT. WHen I'm done it should look great. I'm really glad I could keep it there too. It's really a charming peice of wood.

The second table, I have no idea what will happen to the wood. the legs and body, I hope, will be a table. It's like a hundred pounds of real well put together wood.I think the rails are mostly solid walnut.

I hope I can find something for them to be used in. I havn't checked it out too much though.

I hope I can use some of the slate in the ponds in my yard for something... but it may end up in the trash. I felt horrible taking and angle grinder and sledge to 2+ inch thick slate.

I had to buy a replacement angle grinder too, as the one I borrowed started on fire trying to cut it.
