Man why am I so HUNGRY?

I came home to take a nap (got off work early, at about 3:30, wahoo) then got stuck on browsing the net and reading all the stuff on here. Now it's 6:30 and too late for a nap.

Just got done looking at some 1br places. If that is an example of what 400-450$ per month places look like for 1br, the hell with those. One of them is a very nice basement apt, large, newly rewired, decent looking pad... Now the outside of the house looks like it got transplanted from a damn trailer park in Tennessee. Looks like damn redneck whitetrashville out back. The other two were just crap, small, old, nasty things. May just end up putting up with roommates for another year.

you could come out here and live in a run down 1br for $1100/mo.

i just spent the afternoon cleaning the house too, after some quality beach time with Zeus. had him swimming pretty good in the surfbreak with his bud Happy. it's crazy that he can even swim, he's 90lbs of muscle and bones and sinks like a rock without some serious effort.

I'd like to celebrate my 1000th post at the HOP!

It's been a long time coming!

Finally an "SSA Regular" after nearly 1.5 years!

We should have a moderator whoring fest in here some night. :)

Agreed on both accounts AND we should suspend the others' posting abilities so they don't fuck us up.

now this I have to hear

long story short....i was responding to a fight call, the rear of the car stepped out, i overcorrected,(i think that's what happened) and at about 50mph (slowed down from about 90) i launched the charger about 15 ft down into a creek. it didn't swim very well, i got a concussion. no airbags deployed..and the charger has no front end. i've got cell phone pics that i'll eventually gt uploaded.

and that's the just of the story, lol...

Sorry to hear about that. What was with the airbags not deploying? Did you get in trouble from your chief or do they normally understand that accidents happen in that line of work?

Glad you're okay! That's Chrysler quality for ya.

Watched "Quarantine" the other night. It was pretty frightful. The ending kinda sucked, though, and it was a bit short. There were a couple of times that I thought were unrealistic to a point that it detracted from the movie. They were the parts where somebody was trying to open a door in front of them and the cameraman would turn around and see something coming after him, then he'd turn back around and watch the person fiddle with the keys trying to open the door for like a whole 5 seconds, and you just think man, there's no way it took that long for the chasing thing to get there, the cameraman would be dead by now. Plus most of the attacks were very predictable. But it had good effects and gore and enough strange things to make it overall still scary.

Tonight we watched "Role Models." That show is real funny.
