bassahaulic, 6-7 hours is not really long enough to hurt your feet, you should really get some new shoes. i had good luck with wearing rockport dress shoes that use the reebok dmx air system in the sole. i used to stand 10-12 hours straight in those shoes. i think ascics are the most comfortable causal shoe for me, i always have two pairs of the gel-kahana's on hand and if i can find 'em in 2e or 4e i rock kayano's.

We are also still looking to somehow get a small 5 or 6 speed transmission but don't know how to accomplish it since most transmissions are integrated with the engine.

Any ideas???

I don't know about that, but I do know K-State uses a CVT with a custom gear reduction box. The new baja car is just flat out friggin sweet too.
