Just got back from the competition. Managed a 138.1 with 750w, on music, engine off

Overall pleased, since I took 4th place to : 2 15's on 9000w, 1 15 on over 10000w and 2 15's on ~12000w. Last one scored 140.7.

Sucks that I tested the tracks at home on mp3's ripped by the organisers (probably normalized and with a bit of gain) and peaked over 140 on all the tracks but during the competition we had to use the original cd.

Good job, but what mic are you using there?

I was just thinking that!!! I did a 144.6 with 2 L7 15"s on 1000w..... something doesn't seem right.

heh, yeah, my friend definitely did one of the stupidest things I've ever seen

after we get back to our other friend's place at 2:30am, he pulls out a bottle of Everclear and pours himself half a glass (looked like ~4 shots) and just drinks it normally

5 seconds after finishing it, he's throwing up in the sink

I got 141.9 on one of the tracks used in the competition (the mp3 ripped version). Guy who took first place in my category scored 153.x with one of the tracks. You couldn't choose any song.

I'm actually liking this. It's great to see the lesser (poorer) teams whipping the competition.

Look at the money Ferrari and McClaren spent over the last three races last year for development. It was more than some team's yearly budget. Now look at them. At least Ferrari is trying. McClaren seems to be in shambles now. . . Red will be back in though. The FIA will do as they always do and give a slight of hand to them.

yeah but ferrari had a good chance in spain; their cars are fast now, it was their team management that screwed them. obviously leaving kimi in the pits while his time fell into elimination in q1 was stupid. and how on earth do you send felipe out without enough gas to finish the race? i just don't understand how they won the world championship last year if this was how the team was run. don't get me wrong i like the new competition especially rbr with vettel and the brawns (except that rubens deserved that win).

There also were 3 cars prepared for sound quality (mine included) and we all listened to the cars with the judge to see how the cars would do.

Judge really liked the soundsplinter and the mli's

I am completely out of motivation to study
