  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Okay, there are two spots where G-bodies are notorious for rust, the rear frame rails and bottoms of the doors. I specifically asked the sellers how these areas were before going to look at the vehicles and was told both were mint condition. I can tell you mint does not mean swiss cheese or freshly painted rust. What a waste of time.

Watching right now, but only in the 65th minute.

Had to deal with the Crime Scene investigators. Some FUCKER just stole my fishing rods and some associated stuff off my boat :(

main reason the only thing my dad leaves on the boat are the life vests, fire extinguisher, and anchor is that shit right there :(

for real. we left our tackle box in the boat under our shop awning and it got stolen. Nothing touched but the tackle box gone...

off to study for another fudgin test. In my Govt class studying is looking over the notes while sipping on some brew the night before and once more in the morn. In this history class its a few hours of looking up stuff, memorizing it, and writing an essay. Then the next day I have to prepare for 2 more essays on tuesdays...

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― The Pride Festival kicked off in Loring Park Saturday. There were live bands, food and thousands of people. It's now the third-largest gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender celebration in the country.

But there was some trouble there Saturday night.

Minneapolis Police arrested three people from Hayward, Wis. for trespassing. An amateur photographer named Aaron Bogle gave WCCO-TV video of a father, mother and son being arrested.

For 11 years, Brian and Doris Johnson have passed out free Bibles at the festival.

This year, they were not allowed to have a booth. Pride paid to rent the whole park and that gave them the right to choose which vendors they allowed in.

The Johnsons said they are born-again Christians and they believe homosexuality is a sin.

Police said they were each being held Saturday night on a $50 bail or a $300 bond.

$6k in rods...poof :(

Not sure what all else, going to have to go through it with a comb. Funny too, they left one. It happens to be the one I built so at least the most sentimental is here with me.

As for not leaving things in the boat, it shouldn't be an issue in my neighborhood unless of course one of the neighbor kids was involved. Considering my rods are all nearly custom or built locally it will be easy to identify them.

My boat has locks, I have a LOKR bar on top of that, and it is in a really nice neighborhood. My concern is will they try again? Perhaps a triggered video system of some sort will have to go in. Aargh. :(

So long as you live in a neighborhood, its always an issue...hell my aunt had "BITCH" keyed into the hood of her car by a shitty little (elementary school) kid in her neighborhood, and she lives in one of those guard gated, hourly security patrol communities...

...then again I have been called paranoid several times, so take it with a grain of salt...

..still not paranoid enough to conceal carry...yet...unless you consider a Louisville Slugger in the trunk concealed carry...

Except in:

guest bedroom

my office

Aidan's room

Store room

Laundry room

bathrooms (for now)

...all of the lights in my house are now fully computer controllable and automated :) The old switches were replaced with switches that can:

understand double clicks, single clicks

have up to 8 buttons per location

can talk to each other and a computer so the status is known

can be activated directly by my soon to be installed security panel

works with the touchscreen pc's that I'll be using for remotes in rooms with TV

can respond to normal remotes in all other rooms with stereo in the house

Need to buy a sub amp for the RLp. It's going to become a piece of cherry furniture that goes in the corner. Pretty much need a plate amp though. Luckily I have some car audio goods to turn into home audio :)

I didn't mean that it will never happen here, just not the sort of place it was the norm and probably it would be another 10 years before it does again. Sucks though as now I have to carry my shit back and forth.

Oh, the kitchen is finally painted

the Dining room is painted (needs one more coat on the top color)

Getting somewhere :)

Ordering a Squeezebox here in the next 24 hours as well.

Mama's got a squeeze box

She wears on her chest

And when Daddy comes home

He never gets no rest

'Cause she's playing all night

And the music's all right

Mama's got a squeeze box

Daddy never sleeps at night

sry to hear about the rods sean
