Wow, slow overnight. At volvo getting an oil change and the service records for the trukc

Curious to know what brand of oil they use.

Castrol Syntec blend. 7.3 quarts of it for $23.50 + filter which for a dealer I don't consider too bad.

I went mostly as I wanted to get the full service records for the car as I forgot to pick them up when I picked up the car. I just want my ducks in a row for the Certified Warranty it has considering it is bumper to bumper to 100k.

sounds like a cheep deal to me.

wha???

Peng, you be crazy!

How did you ninja edit that without the edit time showing up. I know how I can do it, but not you. :P

Like Mr. T Maybe I'm pretty good with computers. Maybe I hacked the system with my wicked computer kung foo.

Honestly, I don't know.

I just wanted to make the second giant picture go away as it was redundant since I was the next post. And I took day quill to help my alergies, and it's making me a bit twitchy. I can't really controll the enegery. I'm feeling a bit sensitive about it....

Good deal for sure.

Alright, I think I am going to vote to split the Hop up. It loads so slow it is frustrating to view. I say divide it and continue on.

maybe because I use low fi 99% of the time but I never notice. If it is slowing things down though, then hack this sucker up.

HOP I

HOP II

etc...

The ripoff is the $14 filter. :( That will make me not go back perhaps, depends on what they are online.

great deal

Splitting up the IHOP won't help too much, however, blocking/slowing the web crawlers from it will make a HUGE difference, as it likely archives the entire thread each time it visits the site.

Not sure. Whatever Volvo specs, being Swedish I am sure it is environmentally one of the better choices.

I don't really use Amsoil anything except 2 stroke oil. That I will probably switch to Klotz next year as well.

Every other thread on the site is fast, just the hop slow. So I figured if it were the size of the other threads it would be fast. Your recommendation seems logical though as well.

No I added that after I made that post. Was their any indication that I edited it?

Did I for once kill the iHop late night?

I pretty much crashed last night

fucking paneling

but the sister is coming home for the weekend with a big ole surprise :peepwall:

incest :peepwall:

I love the MLis. I wouldn't suggest them in a 2-way, but they are superb midbass drivers and can also serve sub duty if need be. I had mine mounted in the door sealed and they rolled off around 2.2K last time I RTA'd it. Could have just been the application though. I just let them run wide open on the top and crossed my B&Gs at 2K.

Kinda curious as to why you wouldnt run them in a 2-way setup.

They fall apart in the mids. Fine for many, but I like transparent voicing in the midrange and that wouldn't be their strength. Super hard to match them with a tweet that is worth a shit without going large format too. Sure the Seas is fine, the Scan-speak stellar, but I'd make my compromises elsewhere setting up a 2 way. Midbass though they are machines at.

I love a great midrange and dont want to lose that. I have been thinking of running them with some horns and try to tame them as much as possible. Do you think the AA 7" Carbon Fiber Mids would be good in a 2-way system with a tweet or would it be along the same lines (the make-up of the AA makes it look possible)?

You need some Revs. Expensive, but well worth the money.
