turns out both valve cover gaskets and the oil pan gasket were the culprits

oh and the motor and transmission mount bushings were in need of replacement

the amount on the bill threw up a red flag with the warranty people so they're sending out an inspector sometime today or tomorrow to verify the claim, should be fun

first of all, you need cryo-treated copper to get the full range!

We (SSA) had a customer that wanted to order a pair of Xcon's disassembled so he could cryo-treat the motor and coils. I was like, um NO. We gave him team pricing. He blew one driver. Then a hole bunch of extended douchebaggery followed. We absorbed it, had it reconed. He blew the other one and said the reconed driver was misaligned. Yes, because apparently just his drivers were the only SSA drivers that ever left the build house with out being tested. Then more douchebaggery in terms of nasty emails of us selling him faulty drivers. Yadda yadda, ass hole.
