Tmax, here is what I will tell you about having a mini man truck. They are great for city dwellers who need to move small things or help move people, and lord knows I've over loaded them to the point of death. Once had ~1600 lbs in the "power" ranger.

The moment you talk about towing though I think that they are epic fail. They just don't have the weight, breaks or powa to do it safely. Also as for mileage if you do tow with a small truck it will drop the 1 or 2 MPG extra you get from a full size with even the lightest load.

I loaded Silver with ~1,000 pounds of dirt more than a few times, bumper pulled the 15' Whaler too. I miss her sometimes :(

Most I've had in the Jeep was ~1000 lbs of scrap iron. All old CO2 tubes. Had less than an inch of uptravel

I'm doubting the brakes on that Tundra will effectively stop 8,000lbs on the highway...

Define "effectively" :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Worse than my Chevy which is downright dangerous. My 3500lb boat really creates an issue for it. The Tundra's I've driven stop even worse though.

Mother fucker. I had a deal on the M, contigent on a PPI. Mechanic who did the PPI was the most thorough I've ever seen. His comment was this is the cleanest, nicest, E34 M5 I have ever seen. I expected a huge laundry list of items but could only come up with 3. The shift seal is leaking, the rear subframe bushings are worn a bit, and the oil pan gasket is mushrooming out a bit.

The car has NEVER leaked a drop of anything on my garage floor, the shift seal hasn't leaked enough to ever add ANY fluid, and the subframe bushings...come on. Anyways, he walked. WTF???

To do those three the shop quoted him $1200, but I personally would NEVER change a seal that wasn't leaking as you are just asking for a leak to start. The bushings aren't something out of the ordinary on a 20yr old car and should be expected. FUCKING FRUSTRATING. :( I sent back a volley via email so I'll either piss him off or he'll come back. I expect it is about money, but no way, no how I am ponying up to fix shit that doesn't need to be fixed.

Sean IMHO I would say to him 'Tell ya what lets have another mechanic look it over. IF they dont find the EXACT same 3 issues u pay full price for the car. If they do I'll shave 600 off the price to cover 1/2 the repairs.

Cant wait for GM to go public again. I would like to get in before the price does its initial skyrocket.

Quick question: what's a "good" deal for protein powder? 0.50 an ounce? 0.60?

Quick question: what's a "good" deal for protein powder? 0.50 an ounce? 0.60?

Well..... You can find it for next to nothing, but some brands make protein that smells and thus tastse like horse urine. I have smelt enough to know. It was also rough on the gut. Link a product and price and I'll give you some comparisons.

EAS bags of 100% whey from costco/walmart are a good value that are close to anyone.

I'm payin around 11 a lb. But thats for a certain mix. Go to TrueProtein.com and make your own. The owner sells GREAT protein.

I like the way you think, but it would waste $200 finding them and he'd prep them so they would. Even still he needs to just suck it up and pay for it. That part isn't negotiable.

30 bucks for a 5 pound bag and 23g a scoop? Saweeeeeet

man they need to remake pizza pops that don't leak out when microwaved i hate loosing all the good stuff

almost all equipment sold! what do you guys think about the Mitsubishi Evo's?

man they need to remake pizza pops that don't leak out when microwaved i hate loosing all the good stuff

You overcooked them, they are done when they 170 degrees they don't need to boil over.

And shame. I missed the word Microwave in the first pass. DON'T EVER use one. Completely useless appliance.

*hangs head in shame. after 4 years without one my wife begged so I bought one for her for Christmas. At least I managed to hide it in the closet outside the kitchen. 99.9% of its use is making popcorn which is about all it is good for. It can melt butter too, but should NEVER be used to reheat or cook anything.

What is your preferred method of reheating Sean?

Depends on the target.

Either in a pan, in the oven, or in a steamer. NOTHING heats up right in a microwave.

Occasionally I use a hot water bath as well, but that is more heating than reheating.
